The picture that you took with your camera is the imagination you want to create with reality.
Miniature world
I have been working more and more on my macro photography book. I just wanted to share on of the photos that I took earlier today. This is just an ordinary sink filled with dish soap and then I just got close and took a picture.
I am sure you all have done dishes at one point in your life, but how many have wondered what those tiny bubbles look like up close? That is the beauty of macro photography. It gives you the ability to see the ordinary from a not so ordinary perspective.
I actually made myself a homemade diffuser today for my macro shooting. I got a can of Pringles, cut a whole in it and then duct taped it to one of my flashes. It works awesome for directing the flash right at the thing I am shooting, but diffusing the light so it isn't a harsh light on the subject. It may look ghetto but it works like a champ.
The chips were good too. Anyways, I appreciate you stopping by and checking out one of my new shots for the book I am working on. I am hoping to get out and get more shots now that the weather is nice. I am going out with the family to a Tulip Festival tomorrow, so there could be some cool shots coming from that as well. Stay awesome!
