So many cool cars
My son has been in the auto industry for a couple years now and he specializes in paint correction and paint protection. He is one of the top in the state of Utah at what he does and was recently hired on at one of the best shops here in the state.
His work hosts a local get together for the car community called Coffee and Cars, where all the people in the car community here are welcome to bring their cars in and show them off for everyone.
It is a good way for people in the area to network and get to see what others are doing with their cars. There were so many cars here, but this matte black Porsche was my favorite out of all the cars there.
This car was so awesome and the paint was super clean on it. Ever since my son got into working with the paint on cars, I have really started to notice people's paint and how well they take care of it. It also made me stop going to the automatic car washes because even though they are a convenient way to wash your car, they are horrible for your paint because they scratch the shit out of it.
The cars that they had in their showroom all had work done there at the shop and have a protectant on there that my son specializes in putting on cars. These people are spending upwards of $10k just on the protective coating that goes over their paint.
The technology behind this protectant is pretty cool as well. It is a self healing protectant that when scratched, it essentially melts to fill back in those gaps where the scratches were, ensuring that it always has a perfect coat without any scratches.
This McLaren was another car that I thought was cool. It isn't anything that I would really want to drive because it is very small.
The lines on this car are really cool though and I really like how all the reflections on the paint are.
I am going to have to finish editing the rest of my photos from the car show because there were so many cool cars, but these two were my favorites. There was a Lambo in the showroom that was cool, but I am not a huge fan of Lambos. I would rather have something that is more practical, like the Porsche, lol.
I have never really gotten into car photography, but I am hoping to learn how to make my car photos look better. It would be cool to go into my son's shop and get do some photos for them to help promote what they are doing. It is also a lot of fun seeing all these cool cars that my son is working on.
I hope that you liked these photos. I am hoping to do more of these types of posts in the future as I learn more about it. Thanks for stopping by, you are awesome.
