I designed a tropical house that has some pretty unique forms. The roofs angle to allow for rainfall to run off and the plan is a very unusual diamond configuration, which combines with the slope of the roof creates an interesting overall shape and composition. There is a pool that follows the same general plan design.
This design was first sketched, then built in a 3d modeling program called Rhino. In order to get a better sense of how this modern tropical house might look in reality I decided to do some quick photoshop work that I’d like to share with you.
Below you’ll see a few screenshots showing the different layers created in photoshop. Many elements, including building elements were added in the post production phase rather than in the 3d model.
