Peter and Anne wanted a pet, but their mother was against this idea, she thought that just a few children to take care of a dog and that she was not willing to take on the task.
In the meantime, very close to the children's house, lived Catcher, a very playful bulldog who was rarely taken out of the house, as his owner was always busy with his work and had no time to take him for a walk.
The children, feeling sad and frustrated at their mother's refusal, consoled themselves by playing with Mr. Bob's dog through the gate on their way home from school.
One day Bob observed the destruction Catcher was doing in his house, he decided to ask Peter and Anne's mother to allow their children to go and play with their dog in the park behind their house, the children jumped with joy when they heard this.
Peter, Anne, and Catcher went out to play and were happy to be together, the boy throws a branch at the dog, but a gust of wind changes his course, causing him to fall into the park pond. Catcher decides to go after her, runs, and dives into the water.
The children go after the dog, and when they see him in the water, they start laughing loudly, but Catcher, a dog who thought he was agile and fast, it was very embarrassed to find himself in that situation.
