Last night I just made a happy fish from origami. You only need two origami papers to make this. It was easy and cute after finished. Let’s check out how I made it

Project Time: approximately 2 hours

Difficulty: Easy

---

Materials & things needed:

• 16 x 16 cm double sided origami paper in yellow and pink
• Pencil
• Paper scissors
• Compass
• Eraser
• Drawing paper
• Black marker
• Glue stick

How to make it:

---

1st

I folded the yellow origami in the middle so it made a triangle. Release then folded both side to the middle so it would be like a kite. Then I cut a bit of it at the top like below.

2nd

After that, I folded it again in the middle. Then cut diagonal for the scales. After that I pasted the left and right side, then made the cut wider.

3rd

After that, I used the compass to make the circles, the bigger one in yellow, the smaller one with pink. After that I drew the heart on pink, it would be the tail. Then I cut two circles I made..

4th

Pasted them to make the tongue of the fish and then I pasted it on the fish.

5th

I then cut the heart. I made two identical, one for the tail. The other one, I cut in the middle. It became the fish fins. Look the fish whole body is finished.

6th

I then drew the two eyes on the drawing paper with the marker. Cut them off then pasted on the fish.

THE RESULT

Voila here is the happy fish… It makes me smile whenever I look at it.
