Greetings everyone!
I'm devy and this is my first time joining the hive garden community. Happy to join this community.
I live in the capital city and I recently returned to my hometown. When I came home, it turned out that the plants in my aunt's garden were bearing fruit. My aunt's house and my house are next door to each other. Actually, my aunt's garden is not large, and what I mean by garden is the yard of the house. Yeah, my aunt grows various kinds of fruit in her small yard. There are mango trees, chocolate trees, dragon fruit trees, coconut trees, longan trees, durian trees, papaya trees and also some vegetables. That's a lot, right? But when I came home, only mangoes and dragon fruit were bearing fruit.
Since I really liked dragon fruit, I asked my aunt's permission to pick it. There happened to be some that were already big and ready to be harvested. My aunt immediately allowed me to pick them, and she even helped teach me how to pick them. Honestly, this was my first time picking dragon fruit. Before that I could only eat, hahaha...
After finishing picking the dragon fruit, my aunt went to the mango tree located next to the dragon fruit tree. She unwrapped the sack hanging from the mango tree. It turned out that she had deliberately wrapped the mangoes so that they would ripen on the tree and not be eaten by birds. That's right, the mangoes were already red and ready to be harvested. I even just held the mango fruit off the stalk. By the way, this is my first time picking this type of mango. Since I was a kid, I have often picked mangoes because we always had mango trees.
Hopefully when I go back home again, the fruits are also bearing fruit. Especially the dragon fruit, because I really like it. By the way, that time the dragon fruit and mangoes were delicious. When I went back to the capital city, I also brought some of the garden produce that we picked. In addition to fruits, my aunt also grows vegetables and chili peppers. I took the photo below when my aunt showed me her chili plants. Unfortunately, the chili tree hasn't borne any fruit yet.
