Welcome to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game. This week we are having The Cranberries week, so everyday I will pick a song from them as our Music of The Day.
Today is saturday night, so I would like to say happy weekends for all of us here. For tonight I will play my most favorite Cranberries song, THE PROMISES. This is their song that I like most. Hope you all enjoy it.
Anyway I always open to any suggestion and feedback so please leave them on comments section below if you have a good one.
MUSIC OF THE DAY
Today song, I pick another singles from their album Bury The Hatchet. If yesterday was Animal Instinct, today is my most favorite song, THE PROMISES. I choose their Paris stage performance because I think that is their best performance recorded in YouTube.
This song is about a commitment, the essence of promises and how difficult to keep them.

From the lyric we can guess the song is all about the broken promises and relationship, because people can't keep their promises and can't follow their commitments. A DIVORCE as the simple answer.
The song was written by Dolores, and she said in some interviews she wrote them whe she was in deep frustration due too life pressures. The result is like we hear it, it's full of strong notes, haunting melody and feel some rages. Most people will write a sad and melancholic song from a divorce, Dolores decided to make a song full of burning rage, showing her combatant side by confronting the person.
For me this is their best song, debatable with LINGER that I will share you tomorrow.
PACKS OPENING
Everyday I encourage people to buy pack... yes buy packs and open them. The common question is which one is better, buying packs or buying cards directly from other players? Personally I prefer buying cards directly over buying packs. because it gives more precision on stats building. This leaves zero waste,for example sometime we get good cards from packs but we do not need those.
However recently I have decided I will keep buying packs and share my daily opening in this post because I believe buying packs give more benefit to the community.
- First it is somekind of starbits burning which hopefully might help starbits price to be more stable.
- Second with many new cards circulated, hopefully the card price will get stable too and this will help smaller players to grow.
