A friend of mine recently sold me one of his Fuji XT-2 cameras and I have been absolutely loving it. It is such an amazingly fun camera to shoot with. I even enjoy just holding the thing. I have been using it for professional wedding work since I got it, and it has served me very well. But one of the main reasons I actually bought the camera is because I have been absolutely itching to go out and take my camera with me just to take photos for the sake of it recently, something I haven't done in a long time. The camera's small size and weight make it a joy to carry around, as opposed to a big heavy DSLR. It is also extremely quiet and discreet, a major bonus when you want to capture real life moments without people being distracted by a "professional" camera. It's small and discreet and old school looking enough that people don't pay much attention to it. Don't let that fool you though, I know more than a handful of full time professional photographers who shoot exclusively with these little bad boys, and they pack a major punch.
Many of these shots were taken at 3200 and 6400 ISO with absolutely no noise reduction. I actually added grain in post to give them that film look. The detail (to my eyes) from some wide open (f1.4) ISO 6400 shots in terrible light is absolutely stunning. More than that though, I love the fact that I can take this little thing with me anywhere I go.
