Blessings, everyone! Today I'm going to show you my new drawing, dedicated, as usual, to one of the beautiful and precious cards in the game. This time, I chose a microphone as my inspiration; it's the E137 CT Studio X. This is a very nice card; just look how elegant it is with those black and gray colors. The microphone is also very nice with its metallic finish. The microphone shown on the card is one of the typical ones used in studios, for example, by announcers or for recording singers in controlled environments.
Its size indicates that it must be used securely on some kind of specialized stand. I had a lot of fun painting it for you today. That's why I'm going to show you how I painted it so you can enjoy the process too. It's more fun to see the steps than just seeing the finished drawing, like the preview you saw on the cover. Okay, I started by drawing the inner frame; it turned out like this.
After the frame, I drew the central part, which is the middle cylinder. I really like this design; it looks very elegant compared to the common microphones I've drawn before. I always prefer something different. After finishing the central part, I drew the top section, which is the one with the rubber dust cover in real life. This is the area where the singer's voice would be picked up.
By the way, here's a fun fact: that black rubber piece they put over the speaking area is to prevent wind noise from the mouth while singing. This results in a cleaner sound. It also helps reduce the "P" sound, which can sometimes be disproportionate. See, you always learn something new here.
In the details section, I completed the bottom part, where the cables would connect and where it would be screwed onto the stand. I also finished painting some internal lines inside the microphone to make each area clearer. See how it turned out? With that, the sketch is finished.
Now comes the painting. I'll show you the order in which I painted everything. I hope you like it.
And to finish, here's the completed drawing with the final painted details. Did you like it? Let me know in the comments. See you in the next drawing. Until then, many blessings and take care.
