Blessings to all my friends, today I want to show you my most recent drawing. This one is of a card from the instruments section; it's a flute, the i340 Soprano Recorder. As you can see, it's a beautiful brown wooden flute. In this post, I'm going to show you the whole process from beginning to end so you can see how I created each step—that's always a lot of fun. You already saw a preview on the cover, but now let's get to the steps. To begin, I first made the card's frame in Adobe Illustrator.
After making the frame, I drew the central part of the flute first. I started there because it's the longest and straightest part, so it's the easiest to begin with. Once I had that part ready, I drew the flared part at the bottom where the air comes out of the flute, and at the top, I drew the mouthpiece of the flute. As you know, that's where the flutist blows air into the instrument.
The next step was to create several details inside the flute, such as various divisions. This will allow me to divide the flute into several sections, just like in the original chart. See how it turned out.
Once the above was finished, the sketch was complete, and I could begin adding color. I used a light greenish-brown for the outer background, various shades of blue for the frame and inner background, and a wood color for the flute itself. After adding all the colors, I finally added the mouthpiece and the multiple holes used to play the flute. See everything in the following photos.
And to finish the drawing, here is the final result. Thank you so much for viewing my drawing. See you in the next one. Blessings to all.
