Good day everyone! It's been two consecutive weeks that the Philippines especially our area (LUZON) were visited by typhoons in our country and the internet as you all know is down.
I am very thankful for having won 3 HBD. Thank you #NeedleWorkMonday Community for the prize.
I learned something new about making a shape on a beanie. Instead of finishing my beret project, I crocheted a simple beanie. I haven't bought a cotton thread for the beret yet, the supplier I'm buying stock has run out of supply.
OH NO, I MADE A MISTAKE!
Today, I am going to share with you an easy beanie design that at first I made a disaster! Yes, I made a disaster because instead of a beanie I made a skirt..lol! It took me longer and that's when I knew I made some mistakes on the stitches I made when I fit it on my head. Oh, my!
TO FROGGED OR NOT TO FROGGED:
Instead of spending more, I made another one and counted the rounds carefully to add and subtract so that I would not have to spend much time on what I was doing.
PROUD TO HAVE MADE MY FIRST BEANIE!
I thought it would be easy to make a beanie and shape it. I was overwhelmed by what I thought was so simple to do. There you are! Look, I made the right one!
I am more used to making a doily or runner. Now, I learned how to be careful and adjust the counting even though I get cross-eyed in counting.
