What Moore doesn’t even realize here, is that in his statements about Trump voters, he is unwittingly declaring that Democracy is tyranny of the majority. He is saying that if the majority votes to do things against what he wants for his life and what other people want for their lives, it is terrorism.
But there is a problem in Moore’s thinking. He is being hypocritical and not consistent with his logic. He has no understanding that he is advocating for government to force his version of what he wants on other people. If Trump voters are terrorists for voting for a President that will use this force, then so are all other voters.
Let me illustrate:
Would you agree that we would consider someone a terrorist if they were to take away our rights by force and or by threats of force? If they were to steer and control our lives and how we live them with these threats? If we vote for that someone to be in control of us, wouldn't we be enablers to terrorists? Wouldn't we be complicit in giving these terrorists their power?
If you vote, you’re giving your consent to government to do these very things because every single politician uses the force of government to threaten you and everyone into complying with what it wants. If you don’t comply, then you will be punished by fines, imprisonment, or both. If you fight back against your extortion or kidnapping, you will be met with deadly force.
Now you tell me, who are the terrorists again?
