Finally it's done.
It's actually been done for a month now but I haven't been able to go online for a while.
I amaze myself. It's the first time ever I do any paving (without any instructions) and I must say, it came out pretty good. It even stood up to a week of rain without washing out.
That is what you do when your wife says, “I want you to do it and it's going to look great” .
What project comes next?
The paving spot is done, now my hands are itching. I really want something to do.
There is a lot of projects floating around in my head. I am slow to start something though because we are going to be moving in the next couple of months. That's enough time to get some things growing.
I am longing for a bit of gardening but the weather is keeping me inside. I really don't like the cold. The next project will definitely be a gardening project though.
My garden is very small and I am thinking I should find a spot where I can plant something that can give me a cash harvest. Something fun and beneficial at the same time. My garden doesn't have enough space.
I have an idea though. A neighbor of mine doesn't do anything with his garden than grow weeds. Maybe I should go ask him if I could plant him a vegetable garden. One that will produce enough so we can sell some and split the profit.
If the rain subsides over the weekend I'll go ask him.
In my garden nothing much is happening. The snails loved my moringa trees and ate the whole lot. Maybe I'll plant some again next week. For now I'm waiting for spring to officially start in a week. The aim for this year is more flowers. Definitely more flowers.
I'll update you regularly though. For now I am doing a lot of reading waiting for the weather to pass.
There is a way to learn the new skills you need without breaking the bank. Take a look at Alison. Here you will find certified courses at known institutes for free or at a reasonable price.
