Good morning everyone!
Another manic Monday. I've got that song stuck in my head this morning. 😊

I don't particularly like this photograph but I'm up and at it and bussing it to town. 🙄😏Our trip is fast becoming very real!
Today I've got to fetch our passports and visas from the Indian Consulate after our many visits there to prep for this trip. It's a mission of note to apply for Indian visas I'll tell you that! They want your whole pedigree and more. 😅 And because hubby's going over to do some training for a company he's conference visa was even a bigger schlep. Fingers crossed I have all in hand in a couple of hours. 🙏
Having said that. I'm bouncing between extreme excitement and trepidation about leaving the kids behind on the island. 🙄😂 I know they can fend for themselves but it's not their home country if something had to happen to us. One's got to be prepared so in the last weeks I've been making lists of numbers, bank account details, policies and whatnots on the case of an emergency. I'm super fortunate to have plenty of friends offering their assistance in such a case so on that front I'm feeling pretty chilled.
Anyhow. Life is as life is. I always try and take a realistic view about stuff like this. Unfortunately we cannot take them with and there's no way I'm staying behind. 😂
I'm looking forward to some alone time with hubby although he'll be working for the first ten days of the trip. I'm holding thumbs that we will have time to extend our trip by a few days to explore more of India when we return from Andaman but I'm working on that so more about that later if I succeed. 🤫
This is such an exciting time of my life. I've always wanted to travel more once the kids were older and now we're blessed to have done a bit with them and now without them.
My quote for the day is: 'A good life is a collection of happy moments.' Let's collect happy moments and good memories not worldly things of no real worth.
Have an amazing Monday! ❤️
