About the photo
I was born in Ukraine in the southern city of Zaporizhzhya. It is located in steppe and surrounded by the endless fields. Even though I had been leaving in the city, we were out in a country quite often. And I saw this landscape from my early years. It is a common Ukrainian view. It is even on our flag.
I shot this photo in Plock, Poland. This field was inside the town in about 5 minutes by feet from our house. A small piece of land with wheat. My little Ukraine.
