What you have to do to get a wage increase? How would you earn more money?
Looking from my experience I’ve always valued devoted work, same as creative ideas of my employees. If we want employees to be motivated besides the salary, we have to give them the opportunity for extra earning from the profit. If you don’t have clearly defined stimulations it will be difficult for employees to be motivated by themselves. If someone is not motivated despite the extra stimulations, it means that there is a problem with that person or the problem is in the bad communication between company and employees. Obligate yourself, work extra and reward will come. If the company doesn’t reward you, despite your ambitious engagement, then It's time for you to leave the job. Today the ideas are paid the most, think how can your company develop through your creative ideas and you’ll be rewarded for your creativity. In one big company, the manager was sitting six months watching the screen and drinking coffee. The employees start to complain about that to their directors how it is possible for him to get salary and not working anything. The director’s response was: last time when he presents an idea we have earned millions of dollars, so let him and if it is necessary to bring him food to his office. As you can see, the most valuable people in the company are those who think and give creative ideas.
The question is: how can you be creative; it’s all one if it is your company or someone you are working for. Where the creativity comes from? The only logical answer to this question is that creativity comes from the knowledge. Yes, you perfectly understood, knowledge makes creativity.
Studying and creating ideas from gained knowledge can increase your salary and increase the profit. Everyone value knowledge, don’t ever forget that. Maybe studying seems difficult but working is also hard and if you are tired you can have few days holiday that will make you feel better. If you are looking for creative ideas that can raise your career, I would say that you’ll find them on the internet first then in the books. Only a few authors are writing of concrete ideas in their books, most of whom are giving recommendations what you have to do, but not how to do it. There are a lot of books on studying and setting goals; themes that are very good and that have specific explanations for, it’s time for you to go to the library and get one of them. If we really want to succeed we have to be focused on one goal and we have to create maps that can lead us to achieve our goals. Look, when you’re setting your goal it’s very important to describe your feelings, to enter into the spirit of it and to set time when that goal will be achieved.
