The CBD market is one of the fastest growing markets in the US at the moment and it's an industry that has seen rapid expansion in the past few years.
One of the reasons that a growing number of people have been turning to CBD is because of the increase in news coverage and success stories telling of how more doctors have been treating children with epilepsy by using the CBD oil.
CBD is still misunderstood by many, who believe that the product gets you 'high' in the same way that cannabis does, but you can purchase CBD oil and other CBD products that won't have the THC compound which produces the high. This is why it's been a great option for children and for others who are weary or skeptical about trying cannabis because they are worried about the 'high' they might experience from it.
CBD, also known as Cannabidiol, has been shown to provide remarkable improvement for a variety of health issues for many people and it's no surprise that more are hearing about it and going looking to get their hands on some. The popularity surrounding CBD is one of the things that has been greatly pushing the success of the hemp market in the US and now that market is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
A study was unveiled not long ago that detailed the findings of the American Epilepsy Society (AES) that CBD is an effective treatment when it comes to combating epilepsy. The findings from that study only add to the belief that CBD is a viable option when it comes to providing remedy for a variety of illnesses.
One recent survey found that roughly half of those who use CBD products will eventually stop taking their traditional medications.
The survey, from Brightfield Group and HelloMD, has been referred to as one of the largest studies to date that has been conducted in order to investigate the reality surrounding CBD usage. The results indicate that women are more likely to try the product than men and that they are also more likely to choose CBD over their traditional medicines once they start using the CBD.
Over 150,000 participants were included and they were asked a variety of questions about their CBD usage, the effectiveness of the CBD, and more.
They found that the most common health issues that people are using CBD to treat are problems like depression, anxiety, insomnia, and joint pain.
About 80 percent of the respondents from the survey said that they found CBD to be extremely effective in helping them to find remedy from their symptoms.
As we continue to see an increase in the amount of scientific literature that strengthens the notion that there are medical qualities that can be derived from CBD, we can expect the popularity around this product to continue.
