Can we say that it is good to be married after losing a spouse?
In the bible there was a woman who it took eight years to find a husband. The bible is telling us in Hebrews 1:12 that the word of God is very powerful and it is sharper that a sword which pierces our spirit. The word is what we used to discern God's intention for our life and how we are to act.
Sometimes it's not easy, but we need to be conscious on how the decision will be made. People that are old might keep looking for a partner after they lost their partner and they might need a companion.
Companion is very important. So the question is, is it good to find another partner?
God knows why he makes us a social being and we deserve connections. It is good to also seek companionship from others, as God has directed us.
For it is not good for a man to be alone and it is always a good chance to find another partner.
