Hello mushroom connoisseurs. Every year on May 1st and 6th, I go out into the countryside with my friends to have a barbecue. We usually choose a place by the river.Upon arrival, I set out to find some dry branches to light the barbecue.
And then I saw a mushroom on a fallen willow tree, a young one, just like the one you pick. I was so happy because I hadn't found this type of mushroom, the Sumsko Pile, in years. We also call it yellow bread here, because it has a beautiful yellow color. It can also be found in an orange color.
It was there on several trees, and the most beautiful was the one that was not in contact with water. It is most delicious when it grows on willow. Although it can be found on other trees, and I heard that if you find it on oak, it has a bitter taste.
This mushroom is picked once a year, although my friend says he picked it in the fall as well. It is very tasty. It resembles chicken white meat. I cut it nicely with a knife and put it back. On the way, I saw two beautiful specimens.
This mushroom is very easy to prepare. I slice it thinly and put it in boiling water, boil it, and then I bread it in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs.I dare say the taste is phenomenal.Along the way, I found other fungi on another stump. These are creeping gingerbread (Armillaria mellea). We also use this type of mushroom for food and they are eaten while they are young, otherwise later they are tough and unusable.I pick these mushrooms in my orchard, there are plenty of them, they always grow next to a tree.Apparently the mushrooms have started growing. I'll have to take a walk in the woods,
Thanks for reading my post.
