In one of the most comprehensive reports ever published on the crypto phenomenon, called "Crypto Assets - Taxonomy Report", Cryptocompare glosses, in more than 75 pages, over a vast variety of blockchain-generated assets, based on a few different categories, and with quite a strict methodology.
Cryptocompare is, according to their website "[...] a central authority for clear and concise information, offering unrivalled breadth, scope and depth of data, bridging the gap between the crypto asset and traditional financial markets."
There are 9 sections in the entire report, the most interesting being (at least for me):
- Natural Crypto Assets Grouping
- Methodology
- Data Findings And Visualisations
STEEM is mentioned a couple of times in the report, along with tokens like TRX and XPA, in the "Arts, Entertainment and Recreation" category.
I'm not going to spoil the joy of immersing yourself in this report by giving any other info than that. I highly recommend this lecture which, albeit a bit too technical and scholastic at times, sheds a lot more light on this sector than your usual "pump and dump", "when moon?" and "shitcoins" perspective.
