Hello my fellow Hivers!
This is a short recap of a recent community meeting I attended to prepare for the upcoming barangay fiesta and the judging of our community garden. Even though we were few in number, everyone showed great energy, ideas, and a strong sense of teamwork.
We started by talking about the food we will share during the fiesta. I suggested simple but tasty dishes and we will decorate so that it will become more attractive that everyone can enjoy. I think it’s also a way to connect and celebrate all the hard work we have done together.
After that, we focused on how to make our garden more creative and unique for the judging. I shared my ideas about decorating empty spaces with flowers, small handmade signs, and garden ornaments. I even suggested to focus on how we become unique among others. Everyone was excited and gave suggestions too. It made me realize that even small ideas can make a big difference.
Of course, I reminded everyone about keeping the garden clean. I said we should sweep regularly, organize our tools and stoon in pathways, and remove trash right away. I know that showing a clean and tidy garden is very important, and it also reflects how much we care about our community space. In the criteria 20% is the cleanliness.
Even if our group is small, I feel that our commitment is strong. I promised to do my best, and I could see that everyone else was thinking the same. Every small effort counts, and together, we can make the garden look amazing.
Thank you for reading my story! This is my owned picture and edited in Canva. By the end of the meeting, I felt even more motivated. I am proud to be part of this team, and I am excited to see how our garden will look on judging day. No matter the result, I already feel like a winner because of the teamwork, creativity, and love we put into our garden. Have a nice day!
