Saludos amigo de hive, el día de hoy quiero contarles que me encontré con un vendedor de chupetas y llamo mi atención, ya que cargaba un tipo de paletas caseras que me hicieron regresar 30 años atrás cuando era niño y mi papá me las compraba. Inmediatamente me pare y fui hasta donde el estaba y compre dos paletas para mis hijos, soy de comprarles pocos dulces pero lo hice para darles a conocer uno de los dulces favoritos de mi niñez.

Greetings friends of hive, today I want to tell you that I met a lollipop seller and he caught my attention, since he was carrying a kind of homemade lollipops that made me go back 30 years ago when I was a kid and my dad used to buy them for me. I immediately stopped and went to where he was and bought two lollipops for my children, I am a person who buys very little candy but I did it to introduce them to one of my favorite candies from my childhood.

Les cuento que soy una persona muy curiosa y me gusta hablar con las personas mayores para aprender, y el señor que vendía las chupetas se veía amigable así que le pregunte de donde traía las chupetas; el me conto muy emocionado que heredo el oficio de su padre, quien las hacia de forma artesanal hace aproximadamente unos 70 años, el me cuenta que por motivo de la crisis económica estuvo unos 3 años sin hacerlas y que desde hace un aproximadamente 1 año esta fabricándolas de nuevo; me dijo que las hace en su casa junto a su esposa.

I am a very curious person and I like to talk to older people to learn, and the man who sold the lollipops looked friendly so I asked him where he brought the lollipops; he told me very excited that he inherited the trade of his father, who made them by hand about 70 years ago, he told me that because of the economic crisis was about 3 years without making them and that since about 1 year ago is making them again; he told me that he makes them at home with his wife.

Cuando llegue a casa le entregue las paletas a mis hijos, ellos se emocionaron mucho, porque como todo niño les encanta los dulces; Matthias estaba asombrado porque es la primera vez que las ve, y me senté con el a contarle que hace muchos años mi padre las compraba para todos en casa, para aquel entonces recuerdo que eran mucho mas grandes.

When I got home I gave the lollipops to my children, they were very excited, because like all children they love candy; Matthias was amazed because it is the first time he sees them, and I sat down with him to tell him that many years ago my father bought them for everyone at home, at that time I remember they were much bigger.

Me recuerda a las chupetas que comía el personaje del Chavo del 8, esa serie mexicana que todavía es vista, es un orgullo que un caroreño mantenga viva esa tradición de fabricarlas artesanalmente como las hacia su padre, ya que para otros es mas fácil comprar las chupetas comerciales al mayor y salir venderlas al detal; felicite al señor porque a sus 78 años de edad sale todos los días a la calle apostando por un futuro mejor.

It reminds me of the lollipops that the Chavo del 8 character ate, that Mexican series that is still seen, it is a pride that a Caroreño keeps alive the tradition of making them handmade as his father did, since for others it is easier to buy commercial lollipops wholesale and sell them retail; congratulate the man because at 78 years of age he goes out every day betting on a better future.

Mi hijo Matthias se la comió súper rápido, sin embargo a Juan Andrés le costo un poco comerla, debido a su tamaño, el ha comido de las tradicionales, que son mucho mas pequeñas, y redondas, con esta no podía metérsela en la boca, y aunque decíamos que la lamiera, el no nos entendía, jajaja la verdad me divertí mucho verlo comer y pelear con la paleta; pero al final se la pudo comer toda.

My son Matthias ate it super fast, however Juan Andres had a hard time eating it, due to its size, he has eaten the traditional ones, which are much smaller and rounder, with this one he could not put it in his mouth, and although we told him to lick it, he did not understand us, hahaha I really enjoyed watching him eat and fight with the lollipop, but in the end he could eat it all.

Me traslade a los años 80 y disfrute mucho al compartir esta experiencia con mis hijos, ¿quien de ustedes ha tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar una de estas chupetas?, quien no lo haya echo y tengan la oportunidad de saborearlas no dejen pasar el momento, son lo máximo.
