Do y'all want some killer cornbread?!
I don't own this recipe. This is just my take on it.
We started by preheating the oven to 400 degrees. Then we melted 1/2 cup butter, mixed it with 1 cup cornmeal, and 1/3 cup of sugar.
Next we added 2 eggs, and mixed.
After that, we added 3/4 cup of flour, 1 cup of sour cream, and 1 can of creamed corn.
We then added 1 cup of shredded cheese, and jalapenos. I love spicy food, so I cut up 3 peppers and added it to the batter, plus sliced one for garnish.
We did half with Jalapenos and half without. This recipe made 18 cornbread muffins.
We put them in for about 25 minutes (checking them at 20), and they were great!
