Hey Actifiters!
I hope you are all having a great week so far and finding some ways to be active, even if it's something small. Every little bit counts and keeping active is a great way to contribute to your overall health!
Coming off of last week, work is actually continuing its trend of being busy. That's good, but also hard. I'm coming up on a deadline for our data Warehouse changeover and I have a lot more learning to do as well as some things to test and people to bug about getting the additional data that need.
Even though it's busy and I ran yesterday, when my schedule permits, I'm really going to try and add walking days too. Didn't have other commitments at lunch time so I took my lunch break as a walk. The weather is absolutely beautiful and sunny today and it's not too hot
I'm really grateful that I have been able to run twice over the past week. It has been hard to get up early and I definitely have some soreness. Which is to be expected given that I am not in great shape at the moment. However, I have noticed that my energy level is a lot better even though I've had some late nights or nights where I didn't sleep very well. It's nice to feel more energy overall, and a great additional motivator to keep working on what I've been doing.
I still haven't registered for that 10K race yet, but I'm starting to feel a little hopeful that I can actually get in good enough shape to be able to do it.
