Hi there! I've been following Hive (https://hive-project.net/) for a long time. Actually I was quite excited about their project, because it really seems to cover a new world in the invoice financing market which was not cover until now.
A few weeks ago I also read about Populous (http://www.populous.co/), which covers many of the same issues Hive is trying to cover.
After reading the whitepapers it seems Populous is focused to become an invoice exchange platform where you can buy & sell invoices and Hive wants to use the invoice factoring to get the invoice entry into the system, creating a credit score with public historical data of the businesses.
I've seen many people arguing about which one the legitimate one, but as I see it, and if you check at the time a project like this needs before you create an ICO, I guess both are trying to work in the same invoice financing market, but with some differences between both projects. Anyway the market they are focusing is a 6 trillion dollar/year industry, so there is a big pie and there will be enough for both of them if in the end they offer a solid and scalable solution.
