Yes, a dogwood is a tree, albeit a small one. I rejoice in the fact that I can add this to the list of trees, for this is one of my favorites.
I know I shouldn't duplicate, but, I believe there is a place in this post to add the fact that there are trees that are not really. Case in point, the sculptured tree in the Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC. Totally beautiful, but, can I count it as a tree?
