One of the most beautiful public buildings we own. The glorious Great Hall of the Thomas Jefferson Building, which rises 75 feet from the marble floor to the stained glass ceiling. Marble columns, staircases, paintings, and mosaics? Seriously. Hands down, it is one of my most favorite places on Earth, and within spitting distance of the Supreme Court. Don't forget: get your reading card while you are there...then you too will be allowed in the incredible Reading Room.
Read a book today. — at The Library of Congress.
