I wrote a post late (for me) last night when a confluence of information combined in my mind. One of the key parts of that was about the Marines allegedly landing near the CIA and being there to prevent a coup attempt or even allegedly do something about Operation Mocking Bird. I wrote a post about this and several other different things that combined in my mind and seemed to together to be indicating certain things. The CIA and Marines part came from April Lajune on Youtube yesterday. I actually encountered her for the first time yesterday. It turns out 
We must be vigilant. In the alternative media there is a vulnerability. If "sources" can state things that are false they can do damage to the alt media concept. It is important to protect the credibility of Alt Media when possible as Steemit and what we write here is also an Alternate Media.
April LaJune is someone I'm going to watch for a bit to see what she is doing.
There is another Ex-CIA operative Robert David Steele. He is another one of those that approaches it with mega "appeal to authority" and makes huge claims. He does mix in what he is saying with some things that are going on. I have begun to wonder if he is actually "Ex-CIA" or if he in reality is still working for them and is simply poisoning the well of Alternative Media.
This has been nagging at me for two reasons.
First I happened to watch an Alex Jones interview with him a couple of months ago. It all seemed standard fare for most of the interview. Then near the end of the interview Steele stated that Children are Kidnapped and taken to a secret base on Mars. Alex didn't endorse that and you could see he was a bit taken back by that. The interview ended a little bit after that. Of course for quite some time Mainstream Media was talking about how Alex Jones thought children were Kidnapped and taken to Mars. That didn't come from Alex. That came from Robert David Steele. It became a useful attack point against Infowars. It became a nice propaganda piece.
Not long ago I was watching another interview from someone that had nothing to do with Infowars and in that Robert David Steele stated the NSA captures "Every email and phone call" which is false, and impossible. I posted explaining how this is a myth and he responded "You don't know as much as you think you do." Yet, this happened to be my area of expertise. It is part of what I do for a living.
So I wrote a detail steemit post on the subject.

This does make me think if that is his job. Keep people distracted by mixing in disinformation. He has to mix it in with some information people believe and it muddies things.
Could April be another person like this? I don't know yet. I'll watch for a bit, and I recommend others pay attention and be willing to question "authority" figures as well.
I would like to add a Caveat that I do leave the door open that this may not be the case. They could simply be misinformed and be those people that view themselves as the fountain of "truth". I can't say.
All I can say is be vigilant.
