She had just a morsel of bread
A widow in a small hut in the outskirts of the city
Her smile was heard aloud in the city
And she was always grateful for life
Another great day was her regular motto
And everything she had no matter how little
Gave her a reason to smile.

I am never the worst, she preach
A morsel is better than an empty plait, she say
Across the street, in the subways is no morsel found
And freely I've gotten a whole of it daily
Be grateful for life daily and she'll not forsake you.
A message from the widow with a morsel of bread
I've come to understand that in life we're never at our worst. There are always people who suffer worse than we do and it's amazing to know they are grateful for every little they have just like the widow with the morsel Of Bread
