Just looking into the Homeless crisis in this new town I am just a visitor in, I am blown away by the sheer cognitive dissidence displayed by the town folk here in Boise. Some how Doubling the Homeless population here in Boise will help everything.
Yeah, it is wacky. Really incomprehensible how in America the way to solve homelessness is to allocate billions to private developers to build houses that don't get built but we will give direct funding, food stamps and welfare to refugees.
But wait there was billions allocated to help prevent homelessness right? Well, it would appear there has been no results.
Despite the rising budget, overall homelessness in the U.S. has improved by only 10% compared with 2007. It’s even worse for certain subgroups, such as individual homelessness, which dropped by only 1% in the same period.
For decades, the U.S. has relied on a “housing first” approach to homelessness, where permanent housing is provided for homeless people without preconditions such as sobriety or employment.
The goals of the Biden homelessness team are to remove from the streets no fewer than 100,0000 people experiencing homelessness and to start the development process of 20,000 new units of affordable housing by next year. Here is a tip: To achieve these goals, avoid California. Los Angeles has been working to develop 10,000 units since 2017, with little to show for it but delays, cost overruns, waste, and heartache. According to the website Local Housing Solutions, “as of August 2020, 179 supportive units have been built with HHH funds and another 5,522 are under construction or in pre-development.”
Under the Biden administration, thousands of Afghans transported to the United States are receiving free food, housing, and $2,275 in federal aid, along with questionable vetting.
According to the Washington Post, as Afghan refugee families are moved from temporary housing and care on military bases to cities throughout the United States, resettlement agencies are struggling to keep up with the volume of families waiting for permanent housing and additional aid.
I haven't even gone into the border crisis where the Biden administration refuses to disclose the amount of refugees being released into America.
The Biden administration has a transparency problem when it comes to immigration. ICE has failed to release its fiscal year-end report detailing arrests and removals, which usually comes out by January 1. Bad CBP Southwest border numbers have been chronically delayed. Figuring out how many illegal migrants DHS is releasing monthly requires reliance on court-ordered filings.

There is no transparency or results with anything I am finding when looking into these matters mentioned above. Seems like there is a lot of money being spent aimlessly. What is the solution? Clearly paying taxes is not helping. We have 0 results and a growing problem with homelessness that is getting compounded with illegal immigration and refugees. So I guess refugees and illegal immigration is the answer!?
Somehow we just gotta trust the plan, wear masks, take experimental shots and keep putting our tax dollars into our very trust-worthy government officials, organizations and the companies they pay. Who cares there is no results? Wooooo!
I do not know anymore. I gotta get off grid and to a farm. Maybe I should take this online soilfoodweb course again now that I am less stressed
