By now people have had their thoughts about flagging and if this is an important action to take as a Steemian. My short answer is yes it is important but when would we want to flag?
An important fact to consider is whether or not we want to get in the middle of a flag war to gain attention and possibly ruin your account, or get in the middle of controversy. Also, realizing that a flag is going to be the same and an Upvote.
Yes, a flag is the same as downvoting and what would be some reasons we would want to flag. This is all shared in my short video, so take a couple of minutes and listen.
