It's a day to celebrate being on Steemit! I am just about to hit a beautiful milestone of 1000 followers and want to write a few words about it. Firstly, without you guys Steemit would be nothing. I am constantly surprised at the vast array of beautiful and inspiring people that I meet on Steemit. Until three months ago I had been fidgeting away with Facebook in total boredom! Almost everyone who loves Steemit loves it because of the community. Yeah we know, there's money to be made and influence to be had, but all those things would pale into in boredom if it wasn't for the amazing people that have chosen to be here doing something totally different.
If you are reading this, then you most likely know what I am talking about! If you are new here, please take time to look for people who inspire you and let them know. You will find great people on Steemit, all you have to do is show yourself. If I have inspired you then please let me know. I love writing, and Steemit has given me the motivation and inspiration to write about things I would never have otherwise written about. I have not only discovered amazing people, but also myself. The ways that Steemit challenges my integrity is like nothing else. Why am I posting? What am I trying to say? Why am I commenting? Why am i here!? I'm not normally a jealous person, but Steemit managed to bring up these deep feelings! What a great personal challenge it is to live here and be graceful and peaceful.
Many of you will also know the ecoTrain that I am a part of. This was just an idea only a few short months ago! Now it is like my family! The people we have attracted and are attracting are so unique and diverse and all with great big hearts! The ecoTrain is a big part of my Steemit life and I get great fullfillment from supporting and collaborating with my fellow ecoTrain Passengers. Long live the ecoTrain!
I cannot even imagine what my Steemit life will look like in a year's time. I really hope I will still be here, writing, sharing and connecting with even more amazing people. Imagine if this really is the start of a great new revolution. Imagine if in 5 years half the world is Steeming away! Imagine if this became our job, our passion, our life and our duty!
