What is the greatest gift you have ever given or could give?
That is the question this week, and it sure turned up some very interesting and unexpected posts and answers! I wasn't sure what to expect when we chose this question, and that's probably for the best as we all have such a wonderful and varied set of perspectives.
'Giving' is a theme that I chose to focus on this week because it is a subject that is quite taboo in a way, but also very important. Many people do not like asking to receive. It makes them feel embarrassed or shameful, or something similar. Many people also do not like to give, because even giving can be something that can be very difficult to do and can even have negative repercussions. I've learned in life that the best way to give is with your heart, and with no expectations.
I have realized reading our ecoTrain passengers posts that giving can be so many different things. We all have something unique to offer the world and the people. What we should remember is that we ALL do have something to give to others... even as
