have you guys seen the first Jurassic Park movie, that’s how I can describe the place. this is just a normal passage that connects Pune to other parts of the state but during the rainy season, the place transforms into a green bed with lots of waterfalls and small streams. There were plenty of local tourists but tourists from the west or other parts of Asia are rare, Tamhini Ghat is truly a hidden gem of India.
it took us several stops to take photos and the good thing about riding a motorbike in such a gorgeous place is the sense of adventure which you couldn’t get from sitting conveniently inside a car. At that moment, there’s no greater feeling than the gust of the fresh wind and chill from the rain from this place
