Estamos listo para otro viaje. La nave está preparada y solo falta que a bordes para empezar el viaje al pasado histórico del rock. Nos adentraremos a un universo musical que transformo el mundo y marcó una historia que aun hoy, recordamos con mucho entusiasmo. La música nos ha acompañado desde que nacemos de hecho creo que podríamos recordar esas canciones icónicas de nuestra infancia escuchando esos discos de nuestros padres. Pero como he dicho antes, a medida que vayamos creciendo, la música la hace con nosotros. Es como parte de nuestro cuerpo.
We are ready for another trip. The ship is ready and we just need to get ready to start the journey into rock's historical past. We will enter a musical universe that transformed the world and marked a history that even today, we remember with great enthusiasm. Music has been with us since we were born, in fact I think we could remember those iconic songs from our childhood listening to those records of our parents. But as I said before, as we grow up, music makes it with us. It's like part of our body.
Hoy nos dirigimos a los 80s. Época considerada como una Revolución Musical debido al nacimientos de muchos géneros como: Post-Punk, Rap, Electrónico, Dark Metal, New Wave. Géneros que también fueron considerados importantes en la década. Definitivamente una época de consagración para muchos artistas que hoy seguimos recordando como Dioses gracias a todo lo que lograron cosechar.
Today we are heading to the 80s. A time considered as a Musical Revolution due to the birth of many genres such as: Post-Punk, Rap, Electronic, Dark Metal, New Wave. Genres that were also considered important in the decade. Definitely a time of consecration for many artists that today we still remember as Gods thanks to all that they managed to harvest.

Desde su nacimiento la música de esta banda ha dado la vuelta al mundo y con más de 50 años de música, AC/DC sigue siendo una de las bandas más referentes e importantes del rock. Esta banda empezó su camino mucho antes de 1979 pero fue en esta fecha que grabó uno de los discos más icónicos de la banda y hablo del ¨Highway to Hell¨ una producción que convertiría la banda en un gran clásico del Rock y siendo el álbum más popular de la historia. Este éxito fue aún más consolidado luego de la muerte de su vocalista Bon Scott luego de una intoxicación aguda por el alcohol. La canción llamada como el propio disco ¨Highway to Hell¨ ha sido el mayor himno del rock el mundo. Canción que ha sido interpretada por muchos otros artistas del género, pero jamás como lo hizo AC/DC. Recordar a esta banda, es recordar a Jack Black en escuela de rock. Película que dio tributo a muchos clásicos del rock.

Esta banda que les nombraré ahora fue descubierta en un bar local de EE.UU. por el mismo Gene Simmons (integrante de KISS) siendo él, el financiador de la primera maqueta de la banda. Hablo de Van Halen. Banda que luchó por su música hasta el final. Su maqueta fue rechazada por muchas casas discográficas que motivaron a la banda a no rendirse. El mismo año, Warner le propone firmar contrato dando el inicio a otro icono del rock grabando su álbum debut “Van Halen” Luego graban su segundo álbum titulado “Van Halen II” y de este podemos extraer rápidamente "Dance the Night Away" quien logra colocarse dentro de la lista de éxitos de la década. Pero hubo un sencillo de la banda que sin duda los consolida, hablo de ¨Jump¨ siendo una de las canciones más pegajosas de los 80s tanto así, que logró el puesto número 2 de la lista Billboard
This band that I will now name was discovered in a local bar in the USA by Gene Simmons (member of KISS) himself, he being the financier of the band's first demo. I'm talking about Van Halen. A band that fought for their music until the end. Their demo was rejected by many record labels which motivated the band not to give up. The same year, Warner proposes to sign a contract giving the beginning to another rock icon recording their debut album "Van Halen". Then they record their second album titled "Van Halen II" and from this we can quickly extract "Dance the Night Away" which manages to be placed within the list of successes of the decade. But there was a single of the band that undoubtedly consolidates them, I speak of ¨Jump¨ being one of the catchiest songs of the 80s so much so, that achieved the number 2 position of the Billboard list.
De esta última banda que recordaremos hay mucho que decir. La banda a demostrado en todas sus facetas que son fabulosos demostrando a lo largo de los años como lograron adaptarse a las nuevas generaciones. Cada disco de la banda ha sido un éxito y creo que eso debido a que van como dije anteriormente, adaptándose a los nuevos sonidos. Hablo de Bon Jovi, otra banda que sin duda ha dejado un legado con sus canciones y esos poderosos riff en sus canciones. Y hablando de sus canciones, como no recordar This Ain’t A Love Song (Como Yo Nadie Te Ha Amado) para el que no lo sabes, esta canción tiene dos versiones. Una en español y otra en su idioma original. Ambas son diferentes en su composición solo la música es similar. La versión original habla de un amor perdido y la otra habla sobre una reflexión de amor. Y como les dije al principio, estoy seguro que cada una de estas canciones hoy recordadas, han sido coreadas por cada uno de nosotros. Seguimos cantando…
Of this last band we will remember there is a lot to say. The band has shown in all their facets that they are fabulous, demonstrating over the years how they have managed to adapt to the new generations. Every album by the band has been a success and I think that's because they are, as I said before, adapting to new sounds. I'm talking about Bon Jovi, another band that has undoubtedly left a legacy with their songs and those powerful riffs in their songs. And speaking of their songs, how can you not remember This Ain't A Love Song (Como Yo Nadie Te Ha Amado) for those who don't know, this song has two versions. One in Spanish and the other in its original language. Both are different in their composition only the music is similar. The original version talks about a lost love and the other one talks about a reflection of love. And as I said at the beginning, I am sure that each of these songs remembered today, have been chanted by each one of us. We continue singing...
Definitivamente es un placer y un gusto seguir recordando y a la vez estudiando la historia del rock, su música y sus clásicos. Espero también hayan disfrutado de este pequeño paseo por el pasado musical que nos arropa. Y aquí vuelvo a colgar esa frase que refleja mucho los sentimientos que encontramos porque sencillamente recordar, es vivir.
It is definitely a pleasure and a pleasure to continue remembering and at the same time studying the history of rock, its music and its classics. I hope you have also enjoyed this little walk through the musical past that surrounds us. And here I hang again that phrase that reflects a lot the feelings that we find because simply to remember, is to live.
