отвечаю сам, но в этом посте пока только о минусах.
Про плюсы напишу в одном из следующих постов.
Итак, описываю минусы своего восприятия крипто-рынка на текущий момент:
- отсутствие определённости в регулировании индустрии
- исходя из этого – отсутствие на рынке крупных институциональных инвесторов
- исходя из этого – значительно меньшие объёмы по сравнению с другими рынками
- исходя из этого – возможность манипулировать ценами
- исходя из этого – высокая волатильность
А теперь еще несколько чисто субъективных моментов:
- отсутствие возможности объективной оценки стоимости активов, что порождает очень много совершенно взаимоисключающих прогнозов специалистами. Вплоть от обрушения прямо до нуля и почти завтра и до взлёта аж к 100 000 при решении проблемы масштабируемости (к примеру)
- торговля в выходные дни: мне это очень не комфортно, так как в выходные нужно отдыхать ИМХО
- отсутствие возможности торговать отложенными ордерами и другими типами ордеров.

- trade at the weekend: I'm not very comfortable, as the weekend you need to rest IMHO
- lack of ability to trade pending orders and other types of orders.
