Petals Flowers Contest - Sweet Snailing In The Red

Been seeing these blooming recently as I go around town. It's pretty common landscaping plant here in Singapore.

The special thing is that there's this cute little garden snail crawling around this one! Not a very common occurence.

The images taken on my mobile turned out really soft. A limitation of most mobile phone cameras, especially for macro shoots. I just so wished I had a mirrorless camera in a situation like this!

Did some research and found that it's the Guzmania Lingulata. However, I've not been able to find one with those yellow buds on. So I may wrong. If you know something about this flower, please let me know by commenting below.
