Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
After completing Act One, a new island has been unlocked, called Izuhara. However, I haven't really explored it yet, as there are still many missions left in Tsushima. But since most of the missions in Act Two are in Izuhara, I decided not to play any missions today. I'll just explore this new island and enjoy its atmosphere.
Izuhara Island is completely different from Tsushima. Tsushima was full of greenery, with big trees, colorful leaves, and a beautiful environment. But Izuhara is much drier and more desolate. Even though there were trees all around, everything seemed lifeless. It felt like a shadow had fallen on the place.
The first thing I saw was a Mongol camp. I immediately attacked it. At first, I was scared, because I thought there might be stronger soldiers here than before. But later I realized that these were the same Mongol soldiers from before. So I was able to kill them all very easily. I searched the rooms and found a lot of loot there. I got more supplies and resources from here than in the previous camps.
Then I moved further forward. I saw a group of Mongol soldiers patrolling. Since I wasn't doing any missions right now, I thought that killing them would increase XP and unlock new skills. So we started fighting them.
In this fight, I only used perfect parries. I didn't use smoke bombs or kunai. I finished everyone off easily, one by one. To be honest, I enjoyed the atmosphere of Izuhara quite a bit, even though it was scary.
After going a little further, I saw some Mongol soldiers holding an innocent woman captive and torturing her. I immediately jumped into the battle.
I used the standoff skill. I killed three soldiers at the beginning. The last one started running away in fear after seeing my attack. I finished him off with a bow and arrow. Then I freed the captive woman. She was very happy, thanked me, and gave me fifty supplies as a reward.
I was travelling around and found a cart and some Mongol soldiers. I wanted to skip them but from behind shot me an arrow. That made me angry and I took my bow and arrow, killing all of them one by one.
This screenshot explains the cinematic view of the island. The perfect lighting and atmosphere work together to made this beautiful. The golden-orange sunset glow creates a calm and emotional mood.
