Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.
After Act One, I went to Izuhara Island. This place is different from Tsushima Island. There are many flowers and trees here that I have never seen in Tsushima before. Most of the flowers in Izuhara are red. It seemed that this red color symbolized the blood that was spread all around. There was a kind of depression and strange fear hidden in the whole place.
There is no sign of rain here. It used to rain occasionally in Tsushima, but in Izuhara, the whole place suddenly becomes covered in smoke and fog. It is not clear where this smoke comes from. As evening falls, the whole place turns into a ghostly atmosphere. Even though I was a little scared, I enjoyed this mysterious beauty. I took many pictures while riding around, because the place seemed very unique and mysterious to me.
Then I thought it would be a good idea to start a main mission. The mission was called "A Message in Fire." The main purpose of this mission was to gather help. If we want to save the entire Tsushima from the Mongols, we need more soldiers. For this, the plan was to get help from the Fighting Monk Shogun. But to contact him, we need to send a message to the mainland.
The problem is, the Mongols have blocked the entire sea route. So it's impossible to send any ships in general. Then Lord Shimura tells of a skilled smuggler named Goro. He can secretly cross the sea without the Mongols seeing him. So now my job is to find Goro.
Goro can be found in a place called Umugi Cove. I started heading south to get there. But the problem was, the map didn't show the exact location of Umugi Cove. So I had to search across a large area. As I wandered around for a long time, I saw many more beautiful and mysterious scenes of Izuhara. I stopped occasionally to take pictures.
After much searching, I finally found a narrow road hidden in the middle of the mountains. As I walked along that road, I saw a huge open space in front of me. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, this place is not at all recognizable from the outside. When I entered, I saw small houses made of wood and bamboo, a beautiful bridge, and a calm lake next to it. The place was truly extraordinary.
As soon as I entered, a straw hat ronin came to talk to me. At first he thought I was a ronin, but then he realized I was a samurai. He told me that if you want to meet anyone here, you have to get permission from Lady Sanjo first. Then I went with him to Lady Sanjo. She recognized me and spoke to me respectfully. Later, he also told me where Goro was.
The residence inside the cove was amazing. They have built their house using wood and bamboo. The long bamboo bridge connected from one end to the other.
Finally, I met Goro. At first, he didn't want to believe that Lord Shimura and I were still alive. After hearing everything, he agreed to help, even though it would risk his life. Then he gave me a map and told me where to meet him in the next step. Thus ended the first part of the mission "A Message in Fire".
