In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful posts I have written since I joined steemit community. In the next lines I will talk about a glimp of Sufism, which is the backbone of all religions in the world and the essence of Islam. Because the subject is enormous or difficult to explain in a single post or in a long article, but it needs thousands of books and references to explain.
Sufism in brief is the method or a path that a man or woman takes to reach God, that is to reach his knowledge , through diligence in acts of worship and avoidance of bad things, raising the soul and cleansing the heart of bad morals, and its transformation with good morals.
Thus I want to start with divine poetry and Sufi music, and I have chosen one of the most beautiful poems of Sufism accompanied by modern music by Hassan El Shafei Composer, Distributor and Artist Hani Adel singing.
Research in Arabic literature, especially in Sufi literature, will tell us about the poets whose lives were filled with divine love. Among them can be cited by Omar ibn al-Fadr, who started his Sufism with his father with the help of his master Shaykh Baqal.
And therefore began to sing poems that taste sweet taste only if you know the path of truth and knowledge of Sufism ; moreover you should learn some Arabic because a lot of words can not be translated to other languages due to the mega strength of Arabic language as there is no equivalent words in other language that can match the exact meaning.
Ibn al-Fadr, nicknamed "the Sultan of the Believers" , is one of the most eminent Sufi and Arab poets, most prominently undisputed. He has a collection of poetry, including the eyes of divine knowledge and truths, and his great poems, one of the best songs of divine love. The unity of religions, the unity of witnesses, the unity of existence and the absolute divine beauty.
The accompanying video will take you to a unique Sufi experience through accompanying music and intense poetry with expressive power, In fact, you will be amazed by the melody by Shafei as it could be the masterpiece of his career, not to mention the outstanding performance of the singer Hani Adel.
Despite the greatness of the melody and technique, the poem remains the most powerful from the melodies because of the power of written words.
This poem may be among the poems that Ibn al-Fadr made during his stay in Mecca for fifteen years and
there is a story about the reason for going to Mecca, by Sheikh Ali from Ibn al-Fard: «entered the school , and see an old man doing WUDU in wroing order ..., I said to him: O Sheikh, you are wudu is not correct or in order, he looked at me and said: Omar, your mind is not open to you in Egypt, but will open at Hijaz in Mecca.
Literal Translation:
My heart told me that you are my destroyer
My soul is your redemption, whether you know it or not
What do I have but my soul? And the one who gives his soul
for the one he loves is not prodigal
If you are pleased by it [my soul], then you draw near to me
O futility of effort, if you don’t come close to me!
