When I first encountered the popular phrase, winners never quit and quitters never win, I did not really understand the magnitude of the words embedded in that statement. I interpreted it on surface level initially and it took me second glances to understand the power behind the words.

I will always tell people that life is not fair and only those determined will make it to the top at the end of the day and aiming for the top is not the problem, the work involved in getting to the top is what is hard. But, do we say because something is hard we should not make attempts? Actually it is better to try and fail than not try at all.
The decision to rise is coupled with so many difficulties and only the will never to give up gets us to that place where we want to be.

Sometimes, we have to accept the cross that is associated with the glory we seek. In all things, we must never quit because the destination is always attainable.
I have seen scores of men who were so close to their goals but turned around thinking they were at the end of the road. The most painful thing is when you decide you cannot do something when one more effort could have been your breakthrough, one more effort could have changed your story.

For those who are familiar with the Nigerian anthem, we remember the part which states "the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain." The means the effort of those who never gave up birthed an amazing nation with amazing and wonderful people.
So many great ideas were conceived on the verge of giving up. If you think I am lying, ask Edison and so many other inventors who had a right to give up, did not give up and at the end of the day, history will forever remember them.

When you give up on a beautiful idea, what happens is that nature transfers it to another person who will execute it. Ever had an idea that you delay and discover someone else executing something similar and you wonder how it happened.
To rise is to labor and to labor is to rise. Those who ever achieved had to do so with the mindset never to back down from their vision.
