I am not sure if Vespa is popular outside of Indonesia because what I know is that this type of scooter is made in Italy under the Piaggio Company, which I assume Piaggio is more popular out there rather than Vespa.
But this time I will not be talking about this type of scooter, but I will be talking about a dangerous vespa, which is common hornet in the tropical area Vespa Affinis. They have a powerful sting, and if you have an allergy to them, it can make the body part that has been stung to be swollen.
Although they have a powerful sting, but mostly they will not attack unless provoke. Especially if the nest has been disturbed, or if we try to smack them when they fly too close to us. And one sting that I received from them is when I tried to fuck around and throw gravel into their nest and then found out the sting was painful. hahaha ( I was quite naughty when I was a kid 🤣🤣🤣)
But this time I am very much wiser, so I only took the photos of this hornet with my camera, and not really disturbing them. Their face looks quite scary under the macro shot.
