HIve there, hola a todos!!!
Going through a 40-degree heat wave in northern Argentina, it's impossible not to long to be there. The only thing this heat makes me want to do is to be in the snow!
This year was my second winter season in the snow, and of course I went back up to the mountain to give me another chance at snowboarding. This time I went with a friend born and raised in the south with enough experience to teach me how to take the first steps. And I must say that this time I did not do badly at all.

Este año fue mi segunda temporada de invierno en la nieve, y como no podía ser de otra forma subí nuevamente al cerro a dame otra oportunidad en el snowboard. Esta vez fui con un amigo nacido y criado en el sur con experiencia suficiente para enseñarme a dar los primeros pasos. Y debo decir que esta vez no me fue nada mal. |

First we spent a day learning how to stand up, slide to one side, fade and slide to the other, here this technique is called "feather".
This day I left very satisfied and very confident.

Another day we went back with a bigger bet and after practicing what we had learned on a steeper slope we went to a beginner's trail to try the "slalom", the classic back and forth movement while sliding.
At first it took a few stumbles, until suddenly, my body relaxed and the motion flowed as I slid down the snow through a curvy forest trail with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The feeling? indescribable! You immediately understand the passion of skiing and snowboarding lovers. It feels like flying along the ground, negotiating curves and dodging obstacles.
| ESP | Otro día volvimos con una apuesta mayor y luego de practicar lo aprendido en una pista con más pendiente fuimos a un camino de principiantes a probar el “eslalon”, el clásico movimiento de vaivén mientras te deslizas. Al principio me costó algunos tropezones, hasta que de repente, mi cuerpo se relajó y el movimiento fluyó deslizandome por la nieve a través de un camino de bosque con curvas con imponentes vistas del lago y las montañas. La sensación? indescriptible! Enseguida entiendes esa pasión de los amantes del sky y el snowboard. Se siente como volar rasando el suelo, sorteando curvas y esquivando obtáculos. |

I can't wait for the next snow season to try to improve and be able to ride other trails.
