My first Hieroglyphics show was off the chain, and a long time coming. The entire crew was present and threw down hard for their Third Eye Vision Anniversary Tour- Del the Funky Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, producer/manager Domino, DJ Toure, and the four original members of Souls of Mischief: Phesto, A-Plus, Opio, and Tajai (love these brothers).
The 2 most memorable moments during the show (one's I did not capture on video) was Opio explaining how Hiero is all about authentic lyricism and the spiritual side of Hip-Hop, and even changed a lot of the "N-word" lyrics to "my dude's" instead. Opio (being an Oakland, California native) also openly admitted that Oregon has way better cannabis than the Bay area and Cali - he in fact called our herb "the best shit in the world", which I wholeheartedly agree with.
This show was live as f--k, and literally gave me goosebumps the entire time I was editing the video. Sorry for the excessive bass... but not really tho ;-) FEEL THE ENERGY IN THIS EXPERIENCE!! Gangsta poetic light-love expressions in the essence.
