Even though there were only three entries this week, they are all high caliber ones that are really making a difference to heal this planet.
This Week's #EarthDeeds Entries
@MountainJewel - Harvesting Humanure
As gross as it seems, up-cycling our own excrement is one of the most powerful things we can do to help the Earth through reducing our carbon footprint. This actually erases our "fecal-footprint", and transforms it into something that gives back in a positive way, environmentally speaking.
Not only does @MountainJewel show how NOT gross and forest scented this process actually is, but they also exemplify this symbiosis in their #EarthDeeds post this week (excellent video again - a must watch).

@TruckLife-Family - Manufacturing Natural/Biodegradable Cleaning Utensils
@TruckLife-Family's entry explains how you can use things around you to manufacture your own cleaning utensils. She demonstrates how to create a sponge using Esparto Grass, which grows on the mountains that surround her house-truck. These sponges can be used for cleaning dishes, counter-tops, and yourself!
She also provides a plethora of useful information on the Salvadora Persica tree, and how it provides twigs that are beneficial to dental hygiene. Furthermore, she provides instructions on how to turn one of these twigs into a toothbrush that lasts about three weeks, and is also 100% natural and biodegradable.

@Porters - Combining a Furnace and Stove Together
@Porters sort of created two #EarthDeeds in one this week, by demonstrating how to use the same heat source for both home-heating and cooking needs. I must say that this stove-furnace combo unit is absolutely beautiful, and I am quite jealous of it. If I am ever in the right situation (i.e. own my own home) I will be quick to get my hands on one just like this. Great continuous EarthDeed @Porters, and thank you again for being a continuous participant in these #EarthDeeds contests each week - your energy is always greatly appreciated.

In all honesty it is becoming more and more difficult to pick a winner for these contests, and I am going to eventually have to randomize how the winner will be chosen (i.e. a coin flip or roll of the dice). This is a very good notion however, since this means that all the entries are healing the Earth in great ways, so great that one is hardly ever more environmentally beneficial than another.
With that being said, a winner for this week must be chosen. I usually do not highlight all the entries in such detail in the winner post, but since there are only a few OUTSTANDING entries this week, I felt the extra highlights were appropriate.
This Week's #EarthDeeds Contest Winner of 5 SBD and Up-Votes from @TribeSteemUp & @EarthTribe Goes to:
@MountainJewel - by a hair
All other entries this week have received UP-VOTES from @EarthTribe (100%) & @ELAmental, & also RE-STEEMED by @EarthTribe
I absolutely loved the entries by @TruckLifeFamily & @Porters this week as well, and like I stated above, this was an extremely tough call to pick the winner. It looks like rolling dice may be the solution to this in the future. Much love my fellow Earth-custodians, I am honored to be here with all of you on this quest of saving our planet, and with it our position on it.
Blessings everyone - let's continue to manifest a better world together.
