Hello friends, today I will talk about this small cambur or titiaro that grows in various places in the plain and is super delicious, it is also called apple cambur because its flavor is similar to an apple but it is just a matter of continuing to investigate.
It is not the traditional average-sized cambur and the plant does resemble it a bit, only it is smaller like its load.
The bunch should be cut a little green so that it can be placed to ripen in a safe place so that animals do not eat it while it ripens.
My father always brought them from the fields and the first thing he did was hang them on a rope and cover them with a sack, it's a way to protect them.
When we wanted to eat something for a snack we would take two or three and continue playing or watching television.
Now that I see it again at home it brings back many memories, waiting for them to ripen so I can taste them.
Something I also did since I was little when they were green was cut them into slices and fried them like topocho.
Fried they are super delicious and taste like toston which is made with green molasses, we add a touch of salt, lemon and that's it.
We have other plants in the field which will soon have their load and we will be waiting to harvest it.
These photographs were taken from a Samsung A32 phone.
I hope you like the post, greetings and blessings.
