Hi everybody and thanks for stopping by today! ππ
Today began a bit earlier than usual as we had some online things to accomplish even before a shower. After that, I did get one, but that was when my troubleshooting day began.
When we get up early and the fire has died from the night before, we will turn on the mini split for heat. Itβs usually controlled via an app on the phone, but it didnβt seem to work. No worries-we have a remote. But after my shower, it was my task to figure out why. After several failed attempts, I finally called tech support. The guy was great and helped me to get back up and running. Problem solved! What I didnβt know was that there was another problem.
turned on the asic miners (powered by solar power) and they went through their normal wind up screaming session. All was well until they went through it again. Once again, quieting down to normal. When it began again, I realized we had a connectivity issue. Our set up is special as the miners need to be hardwired to a router. However, our internet modem is on the other side of the house-impossible to hardware the router to the modem as there is no Ethernet cable. So what I did was hardwire the miners to a router and hooked the router to a repeater which then communicates wirelessly with the modem. It works like a charm-except today. π
So after troubleshooting the router, discovered it had no internet connection. Once before, we had burned a router up so I figured this was the same thing, except I could connect my computer to that router. After spending time rebooting and then resetting; going into the modem from the IP address to see if something was off there-well I was getting frustrated to say the least!π‘ Finally, after standing in front of the router and repeater, I did the only thing I could think of left to do, and unplugged the repeater. After it came back up, it all worked. How odd to have two things, not even remotely connected together, go down! Only common denominator was that the mini split and the repeater are connected 24 hours a day to the modem. Which leaves me to believe our internet provider did some kind of update to the modem that interrupted anything online all the time. This was after 3 hours spent on both of the devices. Ugh!πππ
So, off to Home Depot, which is where we saw these in a field.
By the time we got back home, my head felt normal again. We headed out for a hike a short time later. Jan came with, as did and the whole gang! They wanted to go up to Towhee Ridge and play some cards. I didnβt realize they were using gold coins to play!π
Check out βs hand in this aerial view.
Only and Shaun-Wyatt were playing. The rest of the gang were observing.
was winning as you can see by the number of coins she has stacked beside her! They all enjoyed the outing. π
On our way back down, I spied this lovely Trillium in bloom.
So pretty!
Well, thatβs gonna be it for now. Take care everyone and please continue to pray for Ukraine πΊπ¦ π£πβοΈβοΈβοΈπππ³π΄
