We've never been along this part of the River Amber before, so we went to check it out. After a bit of rain, everything looked even greener than usual.
Not far into the walk, we spotted some sheep staring straight at us from the field. I wonder what they were thinking?
Unfortunately, there was nowhere to walk right along the river, as there didn't seem to be a footpath, and we were up on the banking looking down at the water, so that was a bit of a disappointment.
The paths were overgrown with lovely yellow meadow buttercups and the long grass quickly made sure you went back with wet socks!
A little later, there was a small white dog staring at us, checking us out, while patiently waiting for its owner to catch up. Can you spot it?
On our way back, one of the best views along the route was of the back of the church appearing through the trees. Even though it was only a short walk and we couldn’t get close to the water, it was still nice to explore somewhere new.
Thank you to and supporters for running the Phone Photography - Round 113 contest.
