I don’t often see black headed gulls on the village pond. They are usually busy flying about or dive bombing into the water, especially when there is food about. It was nice to notice one there today, quietly resting on the water. I think it was simply enjoying the sunshine.
This is my entry to the Reflection Hunter's Contest – Round 270.
This one is more fragmented, but the reflection is still easy to recognise. I took a few photos and then left the gull to it.
A few weeks ago, I was travelling through London. It can get really busy, so when the coach comes to a standstill it gives me an opportunity to take a few photos. The curved roof of the taxi created an interesting wavy look of the nearby buildings.
The last photo is a mix of both reflection and refraction. Light bounces off and bends through the glass, creating a distorted view of the table inside.
