EJK Killings in the Philippines is one of the serious headlines everyday. It has been discuss in the Senate, in the news and even in the neighboring town all over the place. Everyone are all aware about the Drug campaign of our President, he even mention that he will just finish the Drug campaign in just 6 months. This case is always been a serious matter for all of us especially those innocent people who were a victim of this massive EJK Killlings that is happening in our country. Honestly I am in favor with our President for Campaign for Illegal drugs to stop but not to the extent that many innocent peoples lose their lives because of mistaken identity with this drug campaign that we are experiencing right now.
As a Filipino citizen who wants peace in our country, the process of Drug Campaign should be according to the rule of law not to the extent that they use their power because they are officials of our country they can do whatever action they want in the drug campaign that is for me against the rule of law. It hurts when you watch the news that all you can see is killing the lives of a person and say they fight against the police why they are killed. We’ve lost thousand of lives already in this drug campaign and until now this Drug trade still exist in our country why? How many thousand of people will be killed just to solve this problem in drug addiction that our country is fighting for?
In this EJK Killings many cases are still under investigation and many police officers were released with their duties because of not following the law but the question is will this cases will be solved? Or just a case that will be pending just like any other cases that has been forgotten already.
